It’s that time of the year when the clocks have just gone back, its freezing cold and its always dark! That means evening running in the dusk, or not running at all.

When running on darker evenings we need to put more thought into our kit to stay safe – everything must be reflective & bright!

Whilst wearing a reflective jacket might sound like your only option, its not going to do much tied around your waist when you’re too hot and have to take it off is it?

So, how can you be safe & seen?

  • You could carry a light, but you’d much rather have both hands free if you're running on slippery roads.
  • You could brave it in the dark, but that isn’t the safest choice you could make.
  • You could run with the reflective fluro running bum bag just like runner Charlotte.

The Fleetfoot3 Max has reflective panels around the straps, giving 360° visibility. It’s also got a reflective panel at the back of the bag – for maximum safety when running near traffic. It also comes in fluro yellow for extra stand out security!

You'll definitely be seen when doing your stretches at the side of the road - like Charlotte!

Another way to stay safe is to make sure you've got your mobile phone with you - just in case you do get into any trouble. & the Fleetfoot3 Max has a little pouch that is great to carry a mobile!

And if you do run with a jacket, you can easily tuck into the back of the bag if you get too hot.

Its September - the holidays are over. Not only do we have to adapt our everyday wardrobe, we also have to adapt our running kit for the changeable weather; packing away shorts in favour of gym leggings.

We wake up to the sun, and drive home in the rain – the weather is very unpredictable! This means digging out your waterproof jacket and taking it with you whilst you run. Usually, you would tie it around your waist, but it needs adjusting as its forever slipping down. This can be annoying, and dangerous if your jacket gets caught around your ankles! You can choose to run without a jacket, but no one wants to get caught in a thunderstorm without one.

One of the unique features of the Fleetfoot3 max running bag is it is designed so you can easily tuck a jacket into the back of the bag. It has two clever loops at the back, which are there so you can store your jacket out of the way. So it’s not going to annoy you when running but it will be there if you need it. The bag is virtually bounce-free, so you wont even notice it’s there like you would with a jacket tied around your waist – We’ve got you covered!

When you go for longer runs, it’s so important to carry some kind of snack with you in order to keep your blood sugar levels up. This will help you perform to your ultimate best by reducing fatigue.
You can choose from a variety of snacks including gels, protein bars, fruits and even sweets!

Although snacks are usually quite small, they can be a nuisance to carry. You don’t want to end up clutching a squashed banana in your hand or running with sweaty sweets in your sports bra! The best and most convenient way to carry snacks is in a running bag - like the Fleetfoot3 max!

The Fleetfoot3 features 4 stretch loops which are great for carrying gels or protein bars. This means that the gels can be accessed easily whilst you're running so that you can refuel easily! There’s also a lot of space inside the bag pocket where you can store your phone, keys and smaller snacks like sweets, fruits and nuts. Perfect for the mid-run sugar supply!

With evenings getting lighter and the sun shining brighter, theres no better time to take up running than now! But it can be daunting if you're taking up running for the first time; how are you supposed to carry your phone, keys, money, water?

Running gear usually consist of lycra leggings, with no way of stuffing your phone into the tiny stretch pockets. You could also carry your phone in the pockets of your shorts - making them slide down as you run which isn't ideal. Some of my bustier friends have even carried their phones in their bra! - this sounds uncomfortable and potentially embarrassing!

So.. 'How should I carry my phone?!' you ask.

If you use a running bag or belt - you’re already ahead of the game! But most running bags are too small for most smart phones, We made sure that the Fleetfoot max 3 fits even the iPhone 6 plus!
