By entering this site you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of use as below. When you place an order online you indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

To select an item - place it in the Basket.
To select an item please place your selection in the shopping basket, you can then carry on looking and shopping till you decide to confirm your purchase. It will tell you the cost of postage before check out.

How much does carriage cost and how is it arranged?
The cost of postage and packing is based upon weight.

If you purchase more than one item at a time, the shopping cart will add the weights together to give you a combined postage and packing cost which will save money on postage. In the event we send items separately it will not cost you more.

All goods will be sent in the UK via Royal mail 'Signed for' All goods will be sent in the UK via Royal mail 2nd class 'Signed for' delivery.

Check out
When you have chosen your bags, please click 'buy' go to the check out, where you will be invited to enter your details, which will include your e-mail, billing and delivery address. The postage cost will be shown before you confirm your purchase so all costs are declared in advance.

Delivery
To try and make sure there are no hiccups in delivery we send all packages by "recorded delivery" within the UK.

For orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday, we aim to despatch the same day, or at the latest the following working day (goods due for despatch on Wednesday may in fact leave on a Thursday due to earlier 'last posting times' on Wednesday). Smaller goods are generally sent Second Class post, and larger items go First class.

If you wish the postman to place/post your parcel somewhere specific (i.e. with a neighbour) / behind a bin etc ! we will try and mark the package with your request but cannot guarantee the Postperson will follow your instructions! Please note that as we send packages by recorded delivery they may not be prepared to leave goods without a receiving a signature.

If you would like goods NOT sent recorded delivery we will do this if you specifically ask us, but we prefer not too as we like to make sure you get your bag safely!

When orders are placed on a Friday, or over a weekend, we aim to despatch them the following Monday. Orders placed over a Bank Holiday will be sent on the next working day. While most deliveries will be done within 3/4 working days please allow up to 10 days for delivery.

In our experience goods despatched on a Friday sometimes do not get to their destination on a Saturday. If someting is urgent please call us to arrange "special Delivery at extra cost. This is a service available in the UK only.

Returns Policy and Cancellations 

We want to be sure you are happy with your purchase, so if the products you order from us are not suitable, then no quibble we are happy for you to return them to us promptly. We will offer you a full refund, including postage if you return the item to us within 14 days of you receiving the goods.

Please make sure they are returned to us in perfect original condition (meaning that the bag can be returned to stock, unused, without marks -from grease, perspiration, food, dirt, deodorant etc.) and packed as it was received with labels attached, and proof of purchase.

If you have purchased a workplay bag as a Christmas gift, we have offered you an extended period of up to the end of the second full working week of January to return the bag if un-wanted. This only applies if the bag is returned in its original condition, as described above. 

When returning a bag, please do not fold the bag in half as you may damage the back panel or the board in the bottom of the bag. If you have bought the bag at a show or event, the same terms apply.

Please send all goods to us via Second class recorded postage. We do not refund return postage for goods returned to us after 14 days unless the goods are faulty.

Payment
These are the payment methods we can accept; Visa, MasterCard, Delta/Connect or Maestro and PayPal. Also if you want to pay by good old fashioned cheque or cash on collection or postal order we sympathise! You are welcome but please allow time for cheques to be banked and clear ( 4/5 days ) or postal orders to be banked (2 days). Sorry we do not currently accept American Express. We authorise all card payments when you place your order, and this requires the cardholders full name, address and telephone number. These must match the details registered with the card holder. We will only debit your card from your card when the goods are ready to be sent.

You can enter a different destination address from the billing address (if it is a gift or you want it delivered to a work address for instance.) Please note though that PayPal require that all destination addresses are "verified". We may write to you to ask you to verify your destination address if your address is not verified by PayPal.

VAT and prices

Prices shown are for goods supplied to UK, these prices are inclusive of VAT

Prices for goods supplied to destinations in the rest of the world are the same price as shown in the Online Shop and are the same gross price and net of VAT.

In the event of a mistake by our online shopping system which leads to an undercharging of due costs we reserve the right to charge the balance due. In return in the unlikely event of an overcharge we will refund whatever is due.

Process
When your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email.

When your order is despatched ( which will be usually the same day but may be within 2 days) you will receive another email as confirmation of despatch.

Please note that once your order has been confirmed we cannot alter your order, and it cannot be cancelled once it has been despatched. If there are any problems with sending, money or security issues we will contact you by email. Please use the “my account” button in the top right hand corner of the home page to check the progress of your order by logging into your account.

Terms and Conditions
When you order with workplay, you agree to abide with our terms and conditions of trading as stated on this website.

UK addresses
All UK mainland parcels are delivered by Royal Mail, and require a signature. If the postman is not able to obtain a signature, a card will be left with a contact number. 

Overseas delivery
Cost of postage and packing is based upon weight, so please click through the purchase options, enter where you are in the world and the correct price for carriage will come up BEFORE you confirm purchase.

Eire and Channel Islands: 3-5 days; as above.
Europe; 3/5 days as above.
Throughout the Rest of the World : please allow 10 days, costs will be advised as above.

Christmas Deliveries
We know how important it will be to have delivery on time for Christmas gifts - so please feel free to let us know if what you are ordering is a gift in the last week before Christmas.

Holidays

During 'High Holiday' periods like Summer and Easter Holidays despatch of goods can take a little longer than usual due to staff availability. In this case goods may be delayed in despatch for up to a week, we hope this is not too inconvenient, but in event we cannot despatch the goods within 6 working days we are happy to refund your money.

Stock
We try to make sure we have good stock of all we show on in the shop, but sometimes items sell out quicker than we can update the system. If that happens we will let you know, and either offer to refund you straight away or tell you when goods will be in stock so you can choose which option suits you best.

Product care;

Please follow the care label instructions in our bags. Please do not wash bags and do not wash clothing inside laundry bags etc ( for instance taffetta bags). In event you choose to wash bags you may do this at your own risk, and we do not take responsibility for damage. Bags are not clothing and are in fact "equipment" and not designed our constructed to be washed. If you have a problem though please do let us know and without obligation and liability we are happy to give you advice how to clean bags.

Returns Policy and replacements when goods are found to be faulty;

We want you to be happy with how we handle any problems, and we seek to be fair to both you and us. Following is an explanation of how we handle any issues to do with the unlikely case of a claim for a faulty bag.

If a bag is found to be faulty through a manufacturing fault we will with no quibble offer you a refund or a replacement if one is available, as well as refund your reasonable postage in returning it too us.

This is unlikely to happen - but please note if you return an item reporting it faulty, but we find it is not in fact faulty through manufacture but maybe damaged through lack of care or abuse, or wear and tear we will not offer a refund. If that was the case it can be returned to you at your cost or disposed of as we see fit failing that. If you return a bag claiming it is faulty for a refund - but on checking it we find it is not actually faulty - if it is in perfect original condition condition we will be able to treat it as a straightforward unwanted item and refund you the purchase price of the bag if you return it within the 14 days return time period.

Please please pack all returns with care! 

We do not refund postage for returned goods in advance, but will do so when we have checked the goods are ok. Refunds of postage are at our discretion as described above. Please send any goods to us by 2nd class signed for post in a poly bag to keep weight down, please note we do not refund the cost of expensive packaging that you might buy from the post office and we recommend using recycled packaging such as durable poly bags similar to that which you will have received your bag in. 

This does not affect your statutory rights.
